In 2009, Gretchen developed scoliosis, which left her spine not only curved, but twisted.  Major surgery followed.

"I never imagined dancing like I once did," she said.

But not long after her dominance at age 15, McCutcheon landed a job as the youngest-ever full-time female performer at The Carolina Opry.
