The Grand Strand is pretty much a hot bed for UFO sightings, and one local man who was featured in a 2011 WMBF story is taking his sighting national in the Science Channel show Uncovering Aliens.

Travis's has witnessed UFOs five times as a pilot. Now, he's featured in a Science Channel special, Uncovering Aliens. "Next thing I know, this British Studio's calling me up and asks me to be on our show," Travis told WMBF News Thursday. According to the National UFO Reporting Center, there's nearly 1,200 reports of UFO sightings in South Carolina, many of which are reported right in the Grand Strand.
