Former Myrtle Beach High football star charged with armed robbery

A former Myrtle Beach High School football star remains jailed on armed robbery, drug possession and failure to appear charges, according to records at J. Reuben Long Detention Center. 

Daquarius Raquan Wilson, 21, of Myrtle Beach was booked into the jail at 1:27 a.m. July 14 on charges of armed robbery, simple possession of marijuana and four counts of failure to appear, according to jail records. He remains jailed pending a bond hearing on the robbery charge.

Wilson was stopped by Conway police about 1 a.m. July 14 after the officer smelled marijuana coming from a vehicle that was next to him on Millpond Road, according to a police report. The officer stopped the vehicle and learned Wilson was wanted by Horry County police on a charge of armed robbery.
