Police charge one man with murder in Myrtle Beach shooting; one suspect still at large

Myrtle Beach police arrested one man in connection to a murder on Collins Street earlier this week, and another suspect is still at large.

Christopher Columbus White III, 30, of Kingstree, was charged Thursday for murder in connection to the shooting Monday, according to Lt. Joey Crosby with Myrtle Beach police.

Dominick Goodwin, 23, of Myrtle Beach, was killed in the shooting, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler.

Officers were called about 7:20 p.m. Monday after an unarmed Goodwin died of a gunshot he suffered in front of an apartment building on Collins Street in Myrtle Beach, off Broadway Street, according to arrest warrants.
