Police respond after another robbery on King Drive occurred

Myrtle Beach police responded after a second robbery occurred on King Drive this week, authorities said.

Officers were called about 2 a.m. Friday to the intersection of King Drive and Randall Avenue after getting a report that an unconscious man was in the roadway, police said.

When authorities arrived on the scene they met with a 49-year-old man and a 28-year-old man.

The 49-year-old victim told police he and the 28-year-old man were walking northbound on King Drive when two men came out of the woods and asked for their belongings, according to the police report.
