Rides, games proposed for former Pavilion site

According to an articles posted on the Sun New website,  WBTW's website and WMBF News' website rides and games could return to the old Myrtle Beach Pavilion Amusement Park site this summer, but that is only if a proposal from a Florida company wins city approval.

Representatives from Strates Shows of Orlando, Florida have submitted an application this week to the Special Events Technical Review Committee to propose a summer-long event that would feature rides, games and concessions from June 8 to Sept. 6.

The old Myrtle Beach Pavilion site has sat mostly vacant since the 2006 when the Myrtle Beach Pavilion was demolished by it's owner Burroughs & Chapin.
