Study Finds SC Needs More College Educated Workers to Fuel Economic Growth

A new study says South Carolina is facing a shortfall of college educated workers to fuel its economic growth. The study, done by two professors from the University of South Carolina, found the state could be lacking 100,000 workers with 2-year and bachelor's degrees by 2030. The study will guide the Competing Through Knowledge initiative to enhance the state's workforce.
