Troopers with the S.C. Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Wednesday along S.C. 31, according to authorities.

The crash was reported at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday at mile marker 11 in the northbound lane, according to the highway patrol realtime traffic information system.

Motorists traveling in that area should expect delays and slow down for authorities at the scene.
