Two Myrtle Beach women indicted on charges in sword attack

Two Myrtle Beach women were indicted in connection with a sword attack earlier this year during an argument about a man, according to Horry County Grand Jury indictments.

Laqueta Enaj Harrell, 21, was indicted on charges of attempted murder and first-degree burglary, according to indictments released Monday. Hakina Tinakwa Alston, 26, was indicted on accessory before the fact of a felony and accessory after the fact of a felony, both felonies listed as attempted murder.

Harrell is free on $15,000 bail on the two charges, while Alston remains jailed on $10,000 bond, according to jail records.
