South Carolina has the seventh-highest adult obesity rate in the country, according to a report released last week by a non-partisan, non-profit organization.

The "F as in Fat" report found that South Carolina's adult obesity rate was 31.6 percent in 2012, compared to 30.8 percent in 2011, when it was ranked eighth most obese state.
